Toss N Turn — Wash & Fold / Pickup & Delivery Terms (California)

Thank you for choosing Toss N Turn. These Wash & Fold / Pickup & Delivery terms (“Service Terms”) apply to all wash-and-fold orders, including pickup and delivery, and supplement our General Terms & Conditions. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Service Terms and the General Terms.

1. Service & Turnaround

Toss N Turn processes orders per customer using commonly accepted washing and drying procedures unless you specify otherwise. The standard turnaround is 48 hours. Expedited options (including 24-hour and same-day) are subject to availability and additional fees. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees.

2. Customer Instructions, Preferences & Sorting

Provide any special washing preferences at the time of order (e.g., hang dry, cold wash, delicate cycle, no softener, fragrance-free). If no instructions are provided, we will use default settings and products.

If you want items processed separately by color or fabric type, please separate your laundry before pickup or request separation in your order notes. When Toss N Turn must perform separation/sorting, a sorting service fee applies; additional loads may increase the service total and extend turnaround.

3. Custom Products, Add-Ons & Availability (Additional Cost)

We offer a range of add-ons and customizations (such as product selections and process adjustments) available at additional cost, subject to availability. The options you see during scheduling/checkout or posted in-store reflect current availability and pricing. Brand-specific requests may not be available. If a selected add-on is unavailable, we may contact you for approval of a comparable alternative; if we cannot reach you, we may hold the order or proceed with standard options to avoid undue delay, using our reasonable discretion.

WHILE WE TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO ACCOMMODATE SENSITIVITIES, LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT IS USED FOR VARIED PRODUCTS AND ZERO CROSS-CONTACT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

4. Items Accepted; Unsuitable or Hazardous Items

Wash & Fold is for machine-washable items only. Do not include items labeled “dry clean only” or “hand wash only,” leather, suede, or other items unsuitable for standard machine washing/drying. Do not include hazardous or contaminated items (e.g., items soiled with human/animal waste, blood, infestations such as bedbugs/lice, excessive grease/oil, or flammables). We may refuse, partially process, or return such orders unprocessed and may assess a contamination or disposal fee where applicable.

5. Care & Handling; Stain Treatment

We exercise reasonable care but do not guarantee against color loss, shrinkage, or damage inherent to certain fabrics, dyes, trims, or constructions. Items with pre-existing conditions (e.g., weak seams, thinning fabric, loose beads/buttons/sequins) are cleaned at your risk.

Stain removal is not included in standard Wash & Fold. If we identify stains, we may contact you to approve treatment at our stain-treatment rate. Some stains require professional services beyond our scope.

6. Weight-Based, Non-Itemized Service; Scales

THIS SERVICE IS WEIGHT-BASED AND NON-ITEMIZED. WE DO NOT INVENTORY OR COUNT INDIVIDUAL ITEMS.

Order weight is measured on Toss N Turn’s calibrated scales. In any weight dispute, our intake/return weight will control absent clear evidence of error.

7. Packaging for Pickup & Delivery

Laundry must be packed in a closable bag that can be securely sealed. Toss N Turn is not responsible for loss or damage due to insufficient packaging or for items lost before pickup or after delivery when left at your designated location. If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or a missed hand-off, a redelivery fee may apply.

8. Pricing, Payment, Refunds & Collections

Prices for add-ons/customizations, sorting, stain treatment, expedited turnaround, redelivery, and contamination/disposal are shown in the online/app order flow and/or our posted rate card, and are disclosed at or before checkout whenever practicable.

PAYMENT IS DUE UPON DELIVERY OR PICKUP OF YOUR COMPLETED ORDER. BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU AUTHORIZE TOSS N TURN TO CHARGE THE PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE FOR THE ORDER TOTAL AND ANY APPROVED FEES.

IF AN ORDER IS RETURNED AND NOT PAID, WE MAY CHARGE THE CARD ON FILE IMMEDIATELY TO CLOSE THE ORDER. IF PAYMENT FAILS OR IS REVERSED, TOSS N TURN MAY PURSUE COLLECTION OF THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE, AND YOU AGREE TO PAY ALL REASONABLE COLLECTION COSTS AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES AND COURT COSTS, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA LAW. REFUNDS ARE ISSUED ONLY FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED DUE TO TOSS N TURN ERROR.

9. Inspection & Claims Window

PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER UPON DELIVERY OR PICKUP. CLAIMS FOR MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 48 HOURS AND SHOULD INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION, PHOTOS (IF APPLICABLE), AND THE ORDER NUMBER. WE MAY REQUEST RETURN OF THE ITEM(S) FOR INSPECTION. CLAIMS MADE AFTER 48 HOURS MAY BE DENIED.

10. Loss or Damage — Liability Limits

While we make every effort to prevent loss or damage, mistakes can occur. To provide fair and predictable outcomes:

LIABILITY FOR LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS IS LIMITED TO TEN (10) TIMES THE COST OF THE SERVICE FOR THE AFFECTED WEIGHT, UP TO A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) TIMES THE TOTAL ORDER VALUE, NOT TO EXCEED $200 PER ORDER.

We are not responsible for: (i) pre-existing conditions (fabric deterioration, weak seams, prior improper care); (ii) items mislabeled or unsuitable for standard machine washing/drying; (iii) items left in pockets (e.g., pens, keys, gum) that may cause damage. For loss disputes, Toss N Turn may weigh returned laundry to confirm order weight.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA LAW. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO OUR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.

11. Unclaimed Items

Completed orders not collected or deliverable within 30 days may be deemed abandoned and may be donated or disposed of at Toss N Turn’s discretion, without liability.

12. Right to Refuse Service

We may refuse, suspend, or cancel service where necessary for safety, sanitation, or policy violations, including suspected infestations, hazardous contamination, abusive conduct, or repeated nonpayment.

13. Changes to Service Terms

We may update these Service Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on our website and applies to orders placed after the “Last Updated” date.

14. Acceptance; Electronic Records

For online/app orders, you agree these Service Terms are presented at or before checkout, and that clicking “I agree,” submitting an order, or otherwise affirmatively indicating consent constitutes your electronic signature and acceptance. Toss N Turn will maintain a timestamped record of acceptance.

15. Governing Law; Severability; No Waiver

These Service Terms are governed by California law. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remainder enforced to the fullest extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our rights.
